![]() I was told on the phone that they would refund the October and then a payment for November was taken which should have happened. As per usual very difficult to get through to any one and had to call and email several times. They continued to take money from account when my account was frozen. I had only visited a handful of time in the first year of membership so I decided to cancel, first I was convinced to freeze it. Worst company ever, and go back on their promises. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!īEWARE - Worst company ever- thieves and crooks. Literally the WORST experience I have ever had dealing with a company. I have phoned, emailed, messaged on Instagram (all very politely) I have left feedback through the website twice and have been ignored on all platforms. ![]() My membership thankfully came to an end and this was confirmed in an email, though I am still owed a refund, I check my bank and a new unauthorized Direct Debit has been taken from my account, which I have not signed or agreed to. The cleanliness of this site is disgusting. They cancelled the Zumba class and made a PT quit due to her feeling bullied. I have been trying to get into contact with this gym for MONTHS I moved from the High Wycombe site in October 2022 as I moved house, they continued to charge me at the previous site's figure £42.95 instead of the £32 per month that this site charges. AVOID like the plague - if you want to be robbed of your money then go to this gym. □ĪYLESBURY BRANCH If I could leave a minus star review I would. The money you are claiming is owed is only there as it didn't suit whoever to reply to my original email in February enquiring how many more months I had to throw €50 'down the drain'. Well done on finally terminating my membership as I requested months ago. I explained on joining my various issues, I have explained further in response to an email. The fact I was only able to use the gym for maybe an hour in total over the 6 months is neither here nor there, I signed up for 6 months so I paid 6 months, with a freeze in the middle in the hopes that I would be able to use there, no joy □ happens. This was ignored, the young lad I was mailing was most likely told to ignore the request by management in an attempt to keep getting money for services I was not able to use, however there is no 'Maria' there or a 'jill'(friends reference)and the sound staff members were no longer working there so it really wasn't going to happen. I contacted the Clondalkin club on the 9th of February this year by email to find out how long was left on my contract. ![]() no one in 2023 is obliged to provide notice once a contractual period has ended! A contract and the terms contained within run from the signing date to the end date and as I was past this you are breaking consumer law which protects me and others You are also in direct contention with the aforementioned consumer rights act and the financial ombudsman. To clarify Anytime Fitness you are actually breaking the law here as a consumer I have the right to request a breakdown of charges which you are legally obliged to provide. ![]() "You can cancel a CPA by contacting the business receiving the payments or the card provider." I have contacted the local franchise I was with asking for evidence that I was under contract and to supply a breakdown of these charges and received no response, I have contacted Anytime Fitness directly too and also received no response. They've then said that 30 days notice was required prior to cancelling with directly contradicts the consumer rights act 2015 and the financial ombudsman service which and I quote. had been with them for a year and as such out of contract so left as I no longer required access to this gym. Have passed a non-existent debt onto a debt collection company. They are the worst gyms chain and they will not get another penny from me. These people have no compassion nor empathy and only care about your money and the Ringwood chain are a disgrace. They had the cheek to also request that any where i move to is outside a 15 mile radius of any of their gyms, as i could potentially go to that one, really as I said I'm caring for my partner. I sent them a email from the Nero hospital outlining my partner life threatening illness and date of operation, they the Gym emailed me back still requesting evidence that I had moved away, I had not moved away but simply not using their gym any more as im not in the area. I informed the gym I wish to end my membership they informed me I need proof that I was moving away, but I'm not moving away I'm stay at my partners as her carer. I decide to spend more time looking after my partner and stay at her home. We live over an hour apart, which no where near the gym. My partner has a life threatening illness and need major brain surgery. The Ringwood Gym that I was using have the worst customer care.
